An introduction to the book I’m writing - OMG I Did A Thing ! I've always struggled with the idea of writing yet, here I am doing it and this is where it ended up - Creative Property Solutions

I was bursting at the seems to get these hidden, creative property strategies out there, I wanted to solve peoples property problems, as I had done for years helping first home buyers get into the market. My husband and I knew, we had a long road back after the GFC. This struck us hard, and we were devastated by the financial losses we incurred.

From my passed experiences, I was aware that if something was worth having, I would have to stretch myself in order to have it. So, my big idea was indestructible, reliable, multiple streams of passive income, using property, that would last a lifetime. A tall order I know, but having previous intel that the Government would move the goal posts on the pensions, along with many other things, I wasn’t prepared to take any risks.

When 2008, happened not everyone agreed with the unorthodox, creative strategies that were before me now, had been hidden from the public eye for many years, and yet, they were the very things saved us from financial ruin.

Forever the eternal optimist, I was driven from a kid growing up broke, my expectations were high of life and, I simply didn’t see why life had to be so full of limitations and ‘reasons why not’.

I never wanted to worry about money ever again and, and not long after GFC I encountered a man who showed me a whole new way of transacting property, finally these concepts made sense. I took them on and ran with them. What I learnt, is the reason why I wrote this book.

In 2006, prior, y great pivot point came when my husband and I purchased an old Queenslander that needed tender loving care, on steroids! We got it for a steal at just twenty five thousands dollars, our friends all thought we’d gone cray, cray going to live in the wild, wild, west, our son, not too impressed with spending his first high school year there but it turned out perfect. We were thrilled that we could subdivide the land. We worked hard, building, selling, project managing the purchase and turned over $1m in the 12 months that we lived there.

As the 1, 2 or 3, 4, 5 core strategies unfolded before me, I was so excited but had no clue on how to implement them so, I just supposed that another way to transact property would work and this was how I started my way back to success.

Do you have current problems with either buying or selling property, like fears about the economy or interest rates going up, up, up ?

I love solving peoples property transaction problems and, you can get what you want in property away from the traditional way of doing it. As I found many new creative ways of transact property, I also saw many people working with them over and over again. My husband was happy again, that he could provide for his family and I was thankful for the answered prayers with a fun, new exciting way to move forward.

Q. When the banks say no, can I still get into the property market?
A. Yes, so why not ask the seller for seller finance…..
Q. What if I'm tired of paying dead rent money and paying another persons investment property off while, feeling trapped in this cycle ?
A. What if you tried before you bought ? Renting to own is a leg-up into home ownership…….

Q. But, I have low to no deposit upfront so what can I do ?

A Buy a house for $1 as an on ramp to the banking system, down the track or not.

These solutions saved my husband from bankruptcy, and they could save you too. It’s ground breaking to see how much things have changed, going from older traditional methods of transacting property to learning a whole new skills set that took us from zero dollars to amass a very large property portfolio that pays us income, also outside of the traditional Government ways. - You can too.
